Working Together
It usually starts with a conversation—simple, quiet, and direct. A property catches your eye, or maybe it’s time to let one go. Either way, the objective is clear: get it done properly, without unnecessary noise.
But lakefront real estate has its own language. Shorelines carry history. Parcels hold details that matter. What looks straightforward rarely is, and every missed step has a cost.
That’s where the work is—steady, focused, and built to hold up long after the keys change hands.
If you’re curious about working together or have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Michalene is here to help—clearly, thoughtfully, and with genuine care.

Where We Begin… *
Selling Your Property
Selling your property isn’t just about finding a number—it’s about staying in a position to make decisions. There’s a difference between being informed and being caught off guard. Steve Beers once said, “You don’t know what you don’t know. " In real estate, that couldn’t be more true.
While not every surprise can be avoided, most challenges can be anticipated and eliminated. The goal isn’t to create urgency out of chaos—it’s to position the property as a solid value. When that’s clear, the market responds—you’re free to decide, not forced to react.
And when it comes to selling, silence matters. The conversation starts here—and it stays here.
Buying Your Property
Visiting the lake is one thing. Deciding you belong here is another. For many, the feeling is simple: you don’t want to leave.
But turning that feeling into ownership requires more than emotion. It takes foresight, patience, and a straightforward process. Properties on the Lake don’t just appear—they’re pursued with strategy, timing, and loyalty to the long game.
That’s where we begin—with clarity on what it takes, a plan for how to get there, and full alignment on the end goal. Because lake life is precisely what you're hoping it will be. And on Geneva Lake, whether you are lake access or lakefront, it starts with a pier number and becomes part of your story.
Complete Perspective
Real estate decisions don’t happen in isolation—they’re often tied to lifestyle shifts, long-term planning, or starting a new chapter. Change is real, whether prompted by choice or circumstance, and the process should bring clarity, not chaos.
Selling a property isn’t a panic—it’s a process. Having the space to understand what needs to be done, with privacy and precision, brings the peace needed to move forward. Over the course of my career in sales and corporate agent performance training, I’ve seen how much that truly matters.
Whether you're evaluating timing, planning, or need a clear view of your options, these conversations begin here.
A day well spent.
I grew up on this lake—living on the water, lifeguarding with the Water Safety Patrol, working boat crew, and knowing the shoreline by instinct, not instruction. Summers turned into seasons, and the lake became a map of memory and meaning. A career in real estate here made sense; it still does. You can read my resume below for the professional side of things, but what matters most is that the personal side—the history, the familiarity, the respect for this place—has shaped how I work and who I’ve become. I’m not sure that’s always the case in this industry, but it is for me.

“I have had the privilege of working with Mikki for over 15 years. Mikki is the ultimate professional and leader.
She is continually working to bring colleagues to their unrealized potential.
We joke that Mikki is the energizer bunny and keeps going until she exceeds her client's needs, and just when you think Mikki is satisfied with a project, she elevates it to another level.
If you are looking for someone with your best interest in mind who will partner up with you to achieve your needs, I cannot think of anyone better to work with.
John Matustik.” - John M. | President of Matustik Builders

“Working in the real estate, development and construction industry for over 30, it was a great pleasure to have been able to work with Mikki in a difficult real estate transaction. Mikki’s background, honesty, creativity and “whatever it takes” attitude were needed to get the transaction completed. It would not have happened with out Mikki. Going forward her knowledge and understanding of the Walworth County market with her marketing creativity puts her in a class of her own. “I had the good fortune to meet and work with Mikki in September 2021.
I was transferring for my job from Wisconsin to Arizona and needed a quality real estate agent to represent the sale of my house.
I was referred to her from a friend and was immediately impressed with Mikki. It was evident from the beginning that she was a trustworthy and experienced real estate professional. She helped make a chaotic period in my life (job transfer) into a very smooth and easy process and for that, I am grateful.
Mikki’s positive nature and passion for the success of both her client and the overall real estate industry are inspiring. I would recommend Mikki, and be proud to give her not only my business in the future, but referrals of people I know if the opportunity arose.” - Kim H. | Division Sales Manager | Medline Industries
“Mikki has the heart and soul of a lion, you never once have to question if she means what she says or says what she means. She will inspire and build your self confidence to bring your business to the highest level it can achieve. A unique individual you hope to work with, for, or in the general vicinity of in all things real estate, marketing, and life. I recommend that when Mikki is in the room you make sure to pay attention to everything she says and then go and do it, you will not be disappointed.” - Matthew J | Broker at Fulton Grace Realty | Chicago
